The Bog Demon

   Spirits and demons drift through the misty moon-drenched bog, haunting both peat cutter Haynus MacBroth and grizzled old tippler Gaston on their way to the graveyard.

   Under the spell of The Onus, the ghostly wraiths release the long dead alchemist Methaniel Relch from his centuries-old tomb, still with the hangman's rope tight around his neck.

   It seems as if Methaniel can carry a grudge for hundreds of years. He finds out that Haynus is the direct descendent of the king who condemned him to death, and vows to avenge his execution.

   Sensing trouble, misfortune teller Madame Rumpchuk communes with the dead, and warns her friend Bouzzi the barmaiden to close up early on St. Farley's Eve.

   Bouzzi, broke and in dire arrears, ignores the advice from beyond the crypt, and throws the biggest party of her life. The Bog Demon appears and sows death amongst the festive partiers.

Can archaic Methaniel Relch avenge his death?

Or will he, too, fall victim to ...
